YOU CAN RISE ABOVE REALITY
Courage is the power to face your difficulties. It comes from the reserves of your mind that are more powerful then any of your outside circumstances.
When you recognize that you are bigger than your problems, you gain the courage necessary to overcome anything.
Your obstacles will look large or small to you according to
whether you are large or small.
Courage is the capacity to confront what can be imagined. It gives you the ability to rise above reality.
You are more important than any of your problems.
YOU ALWAYS HAVE ENOUGH TIME
Your dilemma goes deeper than having a shortage of time,
it’s basically a problem of priorities.
Most people leave undone those things that should be done, while they do things that they shouldn’t be doing.
Set priorities for your goals.
A major part of successful living lies in your ability to put first things first. Most major goals are not achieved because people put second things first.
Is what your doing getting you closer to your objectives?
Anything that is wasted effort represents wasted time.
Don’t serve time, make time serve you.
SUCCESS IS CLOSER THAN YOU THINK
Every situation, properly perceived, becomes an opportunity. But you have to act on them if you’re going to be successful. Distant pastures always look greener than those close at hand, but real opportunities are right where you are. You must simply take advantage of them when they appear. You can start where you are at any time. Success is all around you. It’s not in your environment, it’s not in luck or chance, or in the help of others. Success is in yourself alone. You don’t need more strength or more ability or greater opportunity. What you need is to use what you have. Learn to seize good fortune, for it is always around you. You must go to success, it doesn’t come to you. Open your own doors to opportunity.
“In the final analysis, we count for something only because of the essential we embody, and if we do not embody that, life is wasted.”
— C.G. Jung
In Vietnam she was a rich woman, but in the U.S. she toiled stocking convenience store shelves. Why did Thao decide to immigrate?
“We can’t fear the past. Fear is a future thing. And since the future’s all in our heads, fear must be a head thing.”
— Tom Payne
CONQUER YOUR FEAR WITH ACTION
Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood.
When you dare to face the things that scare you; you open the door to freedom.
Most of your obstacles will melt away if instead of cowering before them or procrastinating about dealing with them you make up your mind to walk boldly through them.
Don’t be afraid to take the step you need to take to make positive changes in your life.
To fight fear you must act.
Waiting, putting off, or postponing only increases fear. If you understood enough, you would never be afraid.
